Mr. B wanted to try his hand at fishing the Taneycomo. He’d tried on a previous trip, but the water movement and location just weren’t working for him.
To give him time to do his thang, Little B and I took off to the Butterfly Palace.
This was our second trip here, but Little B was so little the last time; he didn’t really remember. I think this place is fascinating. If you have kiddos, or if you are into nature check this place out.
After we explored all the beautiful butterflies, we headed to the lake to pick up Mr. B, because we were dining in style that evening. PS he did catch a fish and provided me with photographic evidence, so no fish tales here!
Our evening plans were dinner aboard The Branson Belle. This was our second time dining on the Showboat and it is definitely a favorite that is worth repeating.
The food is good, the entertainment is wonderful, and the novelty of it all happening while your going across the lake can’t be beat. Warning: it is cold in Branson in March, which makes for a chilly experience out on the deck. Also, if the weather isn’t ideal the boat will stay at the dock, but you still have the good food and amazing entertainment!
